Ronan Mckenzie, a London based photographer, publisher and curator, dropped out of her fashion degree at Central Saint Martins just days after starting the course in 2014, but has since gone on to work for i-D, Stella McCartney, Nike, Vogue, Fila and Topshop.
Born and raised in Walthamstow, east London, Mckenzie’s projects are often inspired by themes of identity, with her friends and mother featuring prominently in her work. Her latest project, a joint exhibition titled I’m Home, a ‘thoughtful’ curation of black British female artists exploring the ideas of home and family through visual images, was named one of Dazed Digital’s ‘Art shows to leave the house for’ at north London’s Blank100 gallery.
